Notes

Matthew - saz
Pok - mandolin [1-3], mandola [4-5], incantation [4]
Kris - bass [2]
Mike - wooden flute warblings [1-2]
Rosie and Aurelie - vocals [4]

1-2 recorded in Christy's cabin, in the mountains of West Cork, while Christy was on his first trip to Africa. This was done on a rickety old analog tape machine with mono mic, later transferred to MiniDisc and cleaned up insofar as possible.

3 recorded at Oblique House, Exeter 14/01/03.

4 recorded outside St. George's church, Tufnell Park, N. London, 25/03/05 (at that time it was a squatted community centre). I was on my way back from Belgium to Exeter, and stopped by for a quick visit to find a heartfelt but somewhat humorous (and entirely surreal) ceremony was being held for a recently deceased pigeon, Rosie, Aurelie and friend acting as dancing, singing priestesses. Sadly, our version of Skynyrd's "Free Bird" never got recorded!

5 recorded at Oblique House, Exeter late 31/05/05 after watching some footage of Miles Davis' remarkable "Call it Anything" 38 minute freeform set in front of 600,000 freaks at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival. The name is not intended to suggest that our playing is remotely comparable to that of Miles and his band!
